There was an awful lot of “blah blah blah” very loud, a lot of keeping moving and definitely not looking down … what is the attraction of high places for lunch? The view?
Oh, maybe the view.
A Common Blue butterfly. And it was, there were hundreds of them. But I was determined to get a picture, they were so beautiful. I hope no-one was looking. A telephoto lens might have been a help. I know it’s a crap picture but we renamed them Levantine Sirens (as in the Levant Mine, not Palestine): they would repeatedly flit close by and land and encourage me and then just as I went for a close up off they’d go and then off again and always ending going right over the cliff. Bastards. Oh well. I didn’t know they were so common until we got home.
